Turkey's State Minister Tuzmen Due To Moldova
Turkey`s State Minister Kursad Tuzmen will pay a visit to Moldova together with a group of businessmen from of the Uludag Exporters` Association in order to increase trade volume and boost economic ties with this country.
Ibrahim Okur, chairman of the association, said in a statement on Saturday that the visit would take place from June 11th to 14th.
"During the visit, the 5th meeting of Turkey-Moldova Joint Economic Commission will also be held," he said.
Okur said that representatives of 32 firms operating in the sectors of foodstuff, construction, textiles, automotive, machinery and furniture would join the visit.
"Our exports to Ukraine were about 92.6 million USD in 2007 while our imports from this country were 53.1 million USD. We believe that the visit would help us to boost economic and commercial relations," he added.Jun 10, 2008 - By - News -
